HTA-High Temperature Applications
HTA – High Temperature Applications (Heat Treatment Applications)
In heat treatment furnaces, furnace components such as bearing elements, connecting parts, resistors, and gas distribution plates, which are exposed to high temperatures, are manufactured from graphite.
Graphite is a superior engineering material that can withstand temperatures up to 3000°C in oxygen-free environments. Because it is not fusible, it sublimes (transitions directly from the solid state to the gaseous state) above 3500°C. This makes graphite a stable, reliable, and long-lasting option for high-temperature applications.
When selecting the appropriate graphite material, the material's mechanical strength, electrical conductivity, and thermal shock resistance are key criteria. The correct combination of these properties directly impacts furnace performance and process efficiency.
